Rubber Interlocking Gym Mats are designed to absorb impact from free weight equipment. Interlocking weight room flooring can be used in garage gyms to protect concrete floors, in training studios to protect hardwood flooring or in commercial gyms to not only protect the sub-floor but to protect the structural integrity of heavy dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells if dropped frequently. Interlocking rubber mats require no adhesive when being installed and are often referred to as a “loose lay” protective gym flooring solution. Because there is no rubber flooring adhesive needed, interlocking rubber gym tiles are less costly and quicker to install and can be pulled up and relocated to a different location if ever needed.
